Harley-Davidson VIN Breakdown

The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is how all vehicles are identified, no two are the same. It is also a code that can tell you many things about your bike.
(1981 - Present)
The VIN on a Harley-Davidson is usually located on the right side of the frame neck and on some late model bikes can be found on a decal on the lower frame down tube.
