S&S Carburetors

The S&S Super E & G carburetors are extremely versatile in the Harley-Davidson industry.
They can be tuned and adjusted to perform very well on just about any v-twin motor available.

Below are the jetting recommendations for tuning S&S carburetors for various engine sizes.
The jetting in your carburetor should fall somewhere within the ranges indicated within the charts for your engine size & type S&S carburetor.
Jet sizes & idle mixture tuning / adjustment will vary with different engine sizes & types of air cleaners, exhaust, altitude, air pressure & humidity.
There are no exact settings, only experimentation and fine tuning will make your bike run its best.

This S&S carburetor jetting / tuning guide has been created as a starting point for jetting and proper tuning of S&S carburetors.

Here is a complete copy of the S&S carburetor and air cleaner assembly and adjustment book (.pdf file) from S&S.
